The Eickhorn Solingen RT-1-TAC rescue knife is based on the famous LL80 Paratrooper knife.
The LL 80 is 8-3/4″ open, 5-1/4″ closed and has a 3-1/4″ blade. The black coated hook point blade is of 1.4110 Stainless Steel HRC56 and is an excellent clothing, belt, line and rope cutter. The Black handle has a hardened steel head with glass breaker and trigger blade release. Folded into the handle is a steel 3-1/2″ flat tip pick. This is great for getting knots out of line and rope. A handle steel bail is at the handle end.
