The Gerber 30-000244 is a smaller, automatic version of the classic Applegate-Fairbairn combat folder.Ā It is 6.5″ in open length, 3.8″ closed.Ā Ā The 2.8″ spearpoint blade is forged from CPM-S30V stainless steel.Ā This black coated blade is partially serrated.Ā The handle is black Type III Anodized 6061 aluminum.Ā The push button blade release also acts as a plunge lock with blade open.Ā Ā There is also a slide safety with red dot indicator to keep blade securely closed when carrying.Ā A black pocket clip allows for tip-down deep-pocket carry.
