The Knives of Alaska Caribou Knife is KOA’s new, lighter version of the very popular Light Hunter Cleaver. The Caribou Skinner/Cleaver is the same design as the Light Hunter, but with a thinner blade for a sharper and longer lasting cutting edge.
The Caribou is the perfect answer for whitetail deer and other medium sized game.
The Caribou Cleaver is a full tang knife that is 7-1/2″ in overall length. The blade is .1″ thick D2 steel and has a long, 4-1/4″ cutting edge. The back of the blade has thumb notches and a large capacity gut hook. It has a Blaze Orange SureGrip handle with a large lined lanyard hole. A high quality leather sheath is included.
